About the Authors

Brian Amos
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, but raised in the South (various parts of Georgia and Florida), Brian came to know Christ at the age of 10 largely in part of the godly influence of his parents and grandparents. Brian is passionate about developing leaders, and discipling men who engage in the spiritual battles and who “fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes” Nehemiah 4:14. Brian earned a B.S. in Sport Management with Minors in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and Military Science in Leadership, as well as an M.S. in Business Management from the University of Florida. Brian attributes the influence of C. S. Lewis and John Wooden as major role players in his growth as a man, a leader and a follower of Christ. Brian currently resides in Orlando, Florida, and works in Operations Leadership at a Fortune 500 company, as well as serving in the United States military as an officer in the Army.

Matt Diehl
Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, Matt came to know Christ at an early age, but his passion for the glory of God and the advance of the Gospel ignited late in college and has driven his life since. Matt is passionate about planting churches, sharing and writing about the gospel, and playing music. He has served in several large churches across the southeast United States in various leadership roles. In 2012, Matt earned a B.A. in Church Music from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and is currently working on an M.Div. in Apologetics from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His three biggest heroes are his mom, Kim Diehl, sister, Melody Diehl, and grandfather, Kenneth Miller. Major influencers of Matt’s spiritual development are Jonathan Edwards, Martin Luther, Thomas Aquinas, C. S. Lewis, and A. W. Tozer. Matt currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he works as a Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor at the New Orleans Downtown Marriott at the Convention Center, and leads worship every Sunday at First Baptist New Orleans.
